The list just continues to grow, and more artists are jumping on the debate train. Now, Sasha, opened up on his feelings towards the evolution of EDM. On Twitter he simply stated that,  “Most EDM is made by douchebags for douchebags. Do i care if lots of douchebags buy it? Not really, But it pollutes.”

Just doesn’t seem like the arguments are going to stop anytime soon. Naturally. But one can’t help but hope for the fire to die down a bit. One of the voices that hopes for some resolution, mild or high, is Dimitri Vegas. He responded back on Twitter and said, “I suggest spending the energy of hating on each other into creative work! So we wouldn’t need to be having this discussion all together”, while Mat Zo said “there’s nothing new about the wave of pop-dance and the battle of old and young”. It would be nice to see DJ’s settle down a little, and just embrace the fact that EDM has grown and blossomed into something of a commonplace in music.
